The accident occurred at 11:55 a.m. in a bike lane at 7700 Skyline Drive, according to the San San Diego Police Department, which said “the operator lost control and fell off the scooter.”
Alcohol was determined not to be a factor in the fall, but it was unclear why the man lost control.
